Shawn Harbin, Jr

Shawn Harbin October 17, 1989 – March 22, 2016 Resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. Shawn was born and raised in Rome, Georgia, spent his short adult life in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from Hawthorne High School. He attended NASCAR Tech School in Mooresville, North Carolina to advance his skills and love in the automotive field. Shawn had such a love for automobiles and people that he started his own business by the name of KuttaFool Kustoms; he was a public servant that used his skills to help people and had an art to make people smile and laugh. Through his work, he helped many young males learn the automotive trade and showed them a how to make a positive difference in society. He gave his life to Christ at an early age at Greater Bethlehem Temple in Rome, Georgia. He was one of eight children born to Lucille Puckett in Rome, Gerogia. Shawn will forever be remembered by his Daughters Kai’la I. Rogers of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Mariyah Campbell, and Da’Shawnti Amore Harbin of Charlotte, NC, devoted brothers Preston (Shanika) Puckett, Henry “Bolo” Jackson, and L’Shaddai “L.J. Jackson all of Charlotte, North Carolina, loving sisters Sharron Harbin, Shameya Jackson, Bryna and Bryannca Morgan of Rome, Georgia. A host of beloved nieces and nephews Bryant “Trey” White III, Iyanna Harbin-Poole, Zy’Bryon Jackson-White, Bella-Rose Poole, Zy’Camdyian Jackson-White, and Zy’Devyian “Legend” Jackson-White all of Charlotte, North Carolina. His extended family included his sisters, Jacqueline McConnell, Elaine (Starsky) Durrell, Rita Hopson, and Latasha Johnson of Rome, Georgia, and Tameka Barrino of Charlotte, NC and brothers Bryant White II, Danny Hart, and Jaron O’Leary of Charlotte, NC . His DTM Family very special friends Quana Mickens, Ajoyous Hough, Christina Zimmerman and Joshua McCorey of Charlotte, NC along with countless other nieces, nephews, family, extended family and friends whom was blessed to know him. Shawn loved being a father, making legal money, repairing and restoring automobiles, the sounds he made from screeching tires (lol), listening to music, sharing love and his sense of humor, being with family and friends. Shawn touched the lives of many people with his mechanic skills, generosity and his outgoing personality.
