Mychael Louis Towe

Mychael Louis Towe was born on March 5, 2005, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Herman Frank Towe and Stacie Pompili Towe. He departed this earthly life on November 18, 2025, in Clover, South Carolina. Mychael received his early education in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and he later graduated from Clover High School in 2023. Mychael was a creative and imaginative soul from an early age, always drawn to the rhythm and emotion of music. He began making music at age 13. He has recorded and produced a vast array of music in the underground rap world, as well as releasing his own rap albums and collaborating with his WAV partners. He traveled and performed his music in various venues, looking forward to the release of his latest album. His love for the art form blossomed into a rising music career, where he used his gift not only as a form of self-expression but as a beacon to others — encouraging and inspiring many to begin their own musical journeys. Mychael was known for his deep empathy, his listening heart, and his ability to offer support with sincere kindness. He carried the wisdom of his elders with grace and humility, sharing it freely with friends, family, and fans alike. His words often became a source of comfort and encouragement, and he never missed an opportunity to remind those closest to him, “I love you.” He lived with purpose and authenticity, turning his personal experiences into advocacy for others. Whether through music, conversation, or quiet acts of compassion, Mychael made people feel seen, heard, and valued. Devoted to his family, loyal to his friends, and passionate in everything he did, Mychael’s presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished. His legacy of love, creativity, and connection will continue to echo in the lives he touched. Beyond his passion for music, Mychael had a deep affection for animals—especially cats. He lovingly adopted two feline companions, Zen and Chelly, and shared his home with two loyal dogs, Sochi and Aria. From an early age, Mychael was full of energy and athletic spirit, with a particular enthusiasm for basketball. A devoted fan of UNC-Chapel Hill, he treasured the summers he spent at the Antawn Jamison Basketball Camp in the iconic Dean Dome, where he not only honed his skills on the court but also embraced valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and life. Though he may no longer walk beside us, Mychael’s spirit remains—a beautiful melody that plays on in our hearts. Mychael was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Julia Albertha Griswell Towe, and his maternal grandfather, David Laurence Pompili. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and caring parents, Herman Frank Towe and Stacie Pompili Towe; his beloved sister, Alexus Iman Towe of Stockbridge, Ga; his grandfather, Edison Louis Towe, Jr. of Plymouth, NC; his Nana, Shirley L. Brune (Hans) of Charlotte, NC; one uncle, Edison Louis Towe, III (Lynn) of Concord, NC; three aunts, Michelle C. Whitley (Reginald) of Bulverde, Texas; Monique D. Pompili (Karen) and Mary Judith Towe, both of Charlotte, NC.; four cousins; and a host of friends and musical cohorts. He will also be greatly missed by his best friend, Carson Rice, and girlfriend, Anna Cearnel.
